Bride mocked for wearing MINION mask down the aisle as wedding shamers joke she ‘didn’t want to pay for make-up artist’
CAST your mind back to earlier this year and you'll remember the maid-of-honour who rocked up to her pal's wedding in an inflatable dinosaur costume.
Well just when we'd recovered from THAT fashion faux pas (if you can even call it that), one bride has taken matters to all new extremes by walking down the aisle wearing an inflatable MINION mask. Yes, really.
Where most brides enjoy having all eyes on them on their special day, this Despicable Me-obsessed newlywed instead used it as an opportunity to play a practical joke on her guests and husband-to-be.
And we have to admit, it is a pretty genius way of avoiding spending hundreds on a professional make-up artist.
However, not everyone was so impressed with her efforts and it wasn't long before a picture of the bride in her bright yellow minion mask ended up on a .
Inviting others to "shame" the bride's quirky attire, the user wrote: "Oh baby no, what is you doing?"
In awe of the unusual bridal look, one member of the group joked: "That's despicable!"
Another pondered: "Couldn't afford a make-up artist?"
Calling into question the bride's "ill-fitting" dress, a third wrote: "Even the bride didn't want any pictures taken of her face wearing that monstrosity!"
However, another pointed out: "This was obviously some way to troll her spouse for the first look, no different to that T-Rex costume that was going around for a while.
Needless to say, we're going to be adding a minion mask to our Pinterest dream wedding board ASAP.
