Bride-to-be’s engagement announcement mocked by wedding shamers who can’t bear how filthy her car is
A WOMAN has proudly showed off her engagement ring only to be mercilessly mocked for her dirty car.
The bride-to-be shared a snap of her impressive rock online, but wedding shamers were left horrified by the messy interior of her motor.
Posting on Facebook, she revealed a photo of her hand - featuring a huge diamond - being held by her new fiancé.
Captioning the image - which was taken in a car - the future bride wrote: "I got engaged today and I couldn't be more happy #TwoYearsDownForeverToGo."
But while her fellow social media users were happy for her and even complimented her ring, many couldn't help but be distracted by the grubby state of the background.
It appeared the gear stick and its surrounding area hadn't been cleaned in quite a while - and featured the sticky mess of food and dirt.
Good f***** god. That's it. I'm car shaming. Clean. Up. Your. Car.

Referring to the gross scene, one person wrote: "I feel so dirty looking at this. I need a second shower."
Another commented: "Cute, they went to the junk yard to take pictures."
A third shared: "Yeah I'm going to wash my hands from just looking at that mess."
And a fourth added: "I would pawn that ring and get a new car!"
How much should you spend on an engagement ring?
- Traditionally, it is expected that around two and a half months’ salary will be spent on the engagement ring – but for many people out there, clinging to this belief can prove to be the first hurdle.
- According to , that two month rule that has people sweating was actually coined by a De Beers diamond marketer and is best forgotten about.
- In reality, it is best to consider your partner's expectations and balance them against your actual financial situation, as purchasing that "dream ring" should not plunge you into unimaginable debt.
Meanwhile, a fifth admitted: "Good f***ing god. That's it. I'm car shaming. Clean. Up. Your. Car."
And a sixth exclaimed: "Yikes on bikes."
It comes as wedding shamers slammed a £42k engagement ring as looking like a Dr Pimple Popper boil.
