Writing for , Nadia, from Sydney, explained how her boss asked her not to “wear skirts or anything figure-hugging” as it “distracted the boys from their work”.

“This is my first adult job out of uni — teaching English, at an all-boys high school. Though suddenly I feel less like one of the staff, and more like one of the students,” Nadia explained.

“This is also my first real introduction to being sexualised against my will. It will not be my last.

“… I handed in my resignation two days after that meeting with my boss. Not because it made me feel uncomfortable (though it did), or because I no longer felt respected as an intellectual equal (though I didn’t), but because I believed the young men I’d taught were capable of far more than fixating on what I was wearing.”

Earlier this month, we told you how a woman who applied for an internship was left appalled after the marketing company shared one of her bikini snaps as a “bad example” of an applicant.

, 24, from Austin, Texas applied for the part-time position at the company Kickass Masterminds, who she has since accused of “objectifying” her.

After receiving her application, the company shared a photo of Emily posing in a red underboob bikini – that had been posted on her personal Instagram account – on their own story.

Cropping out Emily’s face, they wrote: “PSA (because I know some of you applicants are looking at this): do not share your social media with a potential employer if this is the kind of content on it.

“I am looking for a professional marketer – not a bikini model.

“Go on with your bad self and do whatever in private. But this is not doing you any favours in finding a professional job.”

Emily was utterly horrified upon spotting the Instagram story and immediately reposted it on her own social media, slamming the company for their actions.

She added to image, writing: “@kickassmasterminds this is inappropriate and unprofessional to shame an applicant through social media.”

Emily later took to Twitter where she shared screen shots of the story.

Captioning her tweet, she wrote: “I was objectified earlier today by a company because of a picture of me in a bikini. They claimed it made me an ‘unprofessional.’

“They screenshot the photo, posted it on their Insta story and called me out. I am still baffled that the company handled it in such a manner.”

The tweet went viral, with Emily receiving an overwhelming amount of support.

Kickass Masterminds has now deleted its Twitter account, has switched its Instagram account to private and the website is currently disabled.
