MEGHAN Markle has become well known for her expansive designer wardrobe – but she relied on a tried and tested favourite when it came to her outfit last night.
The Duchess of Sussex stunned in a purple maxi dress as she arrived at the One Young World summit on Tuesday evening.
The Aritzia dress, which initially cost £81 but has now been reduced to £29, was first seen on Meghan while she was pregnant with Archie in January.
At that time Meghan had joined Prince Harry to visit Birkenhead, and had paired the vibrant frock with bright red accessories.
The dress from the Canadian brand has since become victim of the so-called Meghan effect and has sold out in every size, but fans can still get hold of the black version.
Tonight saw the mum opt for more muted accessories in the form of a pair of navy £540 Manolo Blahnik heeled pumps – also recycled from the royal wardrobe.
Meg was seen wearing the very same pair as she attended Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank in October last year.
The Duchess ditched the messy bun she had originally worn with this dress, and opted to have her hair down for this evening's event hosted at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
According to the One Young World website, Meghan is a “long-standing supporter” of the organisation, having joined as a counsellor at the 2014 summit in Dublin.

At that gathering, she addressed the young leaders on the importance of women’s rights and the role men play in achieving equality, the group’s website said.
Meghan is vice-president of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, which has partnered with One Young World to bring 53 people to the summit.
In other royal news, a royal commentator says that Harry and Meghan's refusal to "put up and shut up" could be problematic for the royal family.
The couple also revealed that baby Archie finally ‘found his voice’ on African Tour and became chattier than ever.
