Bride is shamed for listing cough drops and PANTY LINERS on her bizarre wedding registry
A BRIDE has been shamed for her bizarre wedding registry which features cough drops and panty liners.
Taking to user eatapeach18 shared her colleague’s gift wish list which was far from what you might expect from a traditional registry.
Rather than ask for china sets or luxury linen this bride-to-be has registered for some very pedestrian items.
As well as some new towels, the bride has listed a box of Always Dri-liners and an economy pack of Halls honey flavoured cough drops.
Captioning the snap the Redditor wrote: “What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen on someone’s wedding registry?
“Browsing through my coworker’s registry I saw that not only did she register for panty liners, but someone actually bought them...”
And it seems that fellow Redditors had come across equally unusual gift requests, though many admitted that they had been a mistake.
One wrote: “My husband's cousin registered for wipes in her wedding registry. I bought her some because they are handy to have around the house and it was on her registry.
“It turns out they were just testing out the machine and the wipes were close by.”
Agreeing a second added: “I had a registry through Target, and while someone was buying us a gift, they accidentally also rang up trash bags and bronzer that ended up as ‘purchased’ on our registry.”
“You could show up with a giant pack of Costco toilet paper and you just know they'd be appreciative” joked a third.
The photo was shared on the subreddit r/weddingshaming.
