Woman’s ‘monstrous’ engagement ring roasted by wedding shamers who say it makes her look like a Disney villain

A WOMAN'S engagement ring has been mocked by wedding shamers after she posted it online.

The bride-to-be, called Aimee, was told her rock was "monstrous" and looked like a "Ring Pop".

Sharing an image of her hand to Facebook group , the sizeable piece of jewellery featured a large "emerald" surrounded by "diamonds".

"My engagement ring," the future bride wrote.
"Backstory: The emerald and diamonds were from my grandmothers rings.

"We were very close and it means a lot to me."

Asking for feedback, the defiant woman added: "I adore this ring, so go right on ahead!"

Her post received more than a hundred 'likes' and over 290 comments - with many joking that it looked like a Ring Pop, the popular ring-shaped lollipop.

One person wrote: "Looks like a ring pop."

Another commented: "I’d hate to p*** you off and get punched while you’re wearing that ring pop looking thing. Ow."

A third joked: "Is it a horcrux?"

And a fourth asked: "Are you a Disney villain?"

Another teased: "Maleficent? Is that you?"

While a sixth person added: "How do you even lift your hand with that monstrosity weighing it down?"

Many even suggested it wasn't a real emerald, with one writing: "Well unless Granny has HRH before her name, that ain’t no emerald sista."

Another commented: "It looks like costume jewellery tbh.. and the stone looks plastic."

A third shared: "That...doesn't look like an emerald. Curious if you every got it appraised and tested."
