A WOMAN has fainted after being left devastated when a hairdresser suddenly chopped 12 inches off her long locks.
İlayda was a model on a Turkish makeover show when stylist Bilal Ağın carried out his dramatic hair cut.
In a now-viral video from reality TV programme Kuaförüm Sensin - which translates as 'you're my hairdresser', and sees make-up artists and hair pros compete for a prize - the woman can be seen passing out after realising how much of her mane she had lost.
It appears Bilal failed to mention to İlayda earlier in the episode his plans to give her a shoulder-length look.
After seeing he had removed a hefty 30cm, she looks immediately shocked and began to cry.
Meanwhile, the stylist can be seen smiling as he held her locks - which were to be donated to 'Let My Hair Be Your Hair' project for cancer survivors - in his hands.
A distraught İlayda could then be seen running her hands through her much-diminished mane before removing her robe and storming away.
The three judges appeared stunned by her reaction and the remaining contestants and their models looked on awkwardly.
However, before she had quite made it off set, she appeared to faint in the arms of an assistant who looked to be also trying to stop her leaving.
Since being shared on Twitter, the clip has been viewed more than 12 million times with many people sympathising with her response.
One person wrote: "I’m SCREAMINNNN why is that so relatable tf."
Another commented: "Did you see how long that hair was, she's gonna need counselling for that trauma."
However, others thought the scene had been edited quite dramatically.
A third shared: "Indian soap opera called. They want their editors back."
