Wedding shamers mock bride’s heirloom engagement ring saying the stone looks like a ‘squirt of mayonnaise’
A BRIDE-TO-BE proudly showed off her heirloom engagement ring which was once her great-grandmother’s – but people have compared the white stone to a "squirt of mayonnaise".
She uploaded a photo of her vintage white-and-gold ring, revealing her gran and granddad passed it on to her from their parents.
She gushed over the unusual ring, which is made with 14k gold, saying: “My grandmother and grandfather gave me my great-grandmother’s cameo ring.
“I love it so much.”
Her snap of the ring ended up on Facebook group, where it’s racked up a variety of opinions.
Despite the owner being a fan of the unusual setting, others have compared the white stone to a range of condiments.
One person even went as far as to brand it a “blob ring”.
Someone commented: “Looks like toothpaste.”
Another person thought: “Looks like a squirt of aioli.”
A third added: “It looks like a squirt of mayo.”
This person said: “This looks like a swan.”
While somebody else commented: “It’s semen.”
