Mrs Hinch fan makes an air freshener using Zoflora and a sanitary pad – and people are loving her creativity

A MRS Hinch fan has come up with an ingenious way to keep her home smelling fresh – and all your need is some Zoflora and a sanitary pad.

One woman shared her unusual air freshener idea on social media, revealing she was trying to find a use for her old plastic case.

She decided to soak a sanitary towel in Mrs Hinch’s favourite disinfectant, Zoflora, which comes in a range of scents including lavender and linen fresh.

Sharing her tip on Facebook group , she said: "Been trying to find use for empty air freshener so I decided to try something, sanitary towel zoflora and then pop it on side. [sic]

“My house smells amazing.”

She folded up the sanitary pad inside the plastic casing and popped the lid on so no one could see inside.

Her novel tip has racked up more than 500 likes and comments – as other people admitted they do the same thing.

One woman revealed: “I stick them on the back of my radiators. Works a treat when the heating is on.”

Another said: “Brilliant idea. Going to try that.”

Agreeing, someone else commented: "That's a good idea."

A third added: “Sanitary towel is more absorbent so makes sense.”
