A HAIRDRESSER who has splashed more than £11,000 on Botox, breast implants, fillers and a Brazilian butt lift still claims beauty ‘comes from within’.
Adelin Moeel, 22, says she was teased about her looks growing up, and became self-conscious after her weight spiralled to 18st 5lbs.
Adelin, from Oslo, Norway, went on a radical diet, which saw her weight plummet to 9st 1lb when she was 18, as she restricted herself to just 800 calories a day.
She said: “I’ve always been very obsessed with my look and I was always a big girl. I’ve had struggles with my weight since I was a child.
“It was very difficult, I had no friends. I was a big girl growing up, I was fat and tall.
"I stuck out from the other kids in school. I felt like an outsider and the other kids were not kind about my weight.
“I always felt like there was something wrong with me that I needed to change.”
Adelin says she was suffering from anorexia and bulimia, and she began getting fillers and Botox, keeping herself topped up with regular injections every six months.
Eventually the eating disorder took its toll on Adelin, who says she “got tired of making myself sick”, and is now a healthy 13st 5lbs.
But her love of surgery didn’t go away, with Adelin splashing more than £11,000 on a boob job, taking her from a B to a DD, and a Brazilian butt lift, as well as her injections.
She said: “I feel so much better about myself now that I’ve had these procedures done.
"But I feel like I will never be completely done with doing plastic surgery. It can be kind of addictive.
“It’s made me feel better about myself because I don’t have to worry about my stomach anymore and bigger boobs make me more confident because I think it looks good and I feel I look better with bigger boobs so it’s helped me a lot.”
Adelin, who lives with her parents, says she’s now obsessed with becoming an star.
She gets a lot of male attention online, but says it can be "intense".
Adelin said: “There are a lot of boys who try to contact me but I’m not really interested. I think my dream now is to become top on Instagram, so I’m not really interested in those DMs."
She's debating selling photos online to make some money - to fund more surgery including another Brazilian butt lift.
Adelin said: "I think it’s a waste otherwise to talk to them without getting paid."
Despite trying to build her following online, Adelin stresses that true beauty comes from within - despite planning more cosmetic procedures.
Adelin warned surgery can become "addictive", sying: “I try to be happy with how I am now, but I think I will do my butt again when I have the money but it’s not a priority now.
“I try to work out and eat healthy and I’ll see if I make myself happier by doing that.
“It’s hard because I think you will never be one hundred per cent happy no matter how much you try or how much surgery you have.
“It’s more important that you’re happy with your inner self and find peace with who you are.
"I really am happy about the procedures I’ve had done because they’ve made me feel better but I think that surgery can be addictive.
“Just know that beauty really comes from the inside and how you really shine out to others.
"If you think to yourself that you are beautiful then you will come out as beautiful to other people as well.”
And she warned other girls who were debating getting surgery to make sure they were doing it for the right reason.
She said: “Life doesn’t start after surgery, it doesn’t get any different really.
“Just make sure that you are doing it for yourself and to make yourself feel better and not for others.”
