Poundland is selling prosecco fizz and bellini candles – and they only cost a quid

BARGAIN retailer Poundland is selling a collection of cocktail-inspired candles and - you guessed it - they're just a quid each.

The high-street giant has released a selection of new scents - Bellini Surprise, Rhubarb and Ginger and Prosecco Fizz.

Just in time for winter, the chic candles smell utterly delicious and come in stylish jars with silver and rose gold lids.

The Bellini Surprise is bright pink in colour and described as "sweet and fruity" - much like its cocktail counterpart, made from prosecco and peach puree.

Meanwhile, the stylish Rhubarb and Ginger is exactly what it says on the tin, with the olive green candle offering shoppers a "sweet and fiery" scent.

The third candle is the "fruity and crisp" Prosecco Fizz, which is dusky pink in colour and features a stylish rose gold lid.

Each candle jar is priced at just £1 and has a 32-hour burn time - and shoppers can't get enough of them.

One wrote on Instagram: "Love the rhubarb and ginger it smells lovely, burning one right now."

While another commented: "Prosecco Fizz smell lovely and the jars look great as well... going to buy some more."

"Ooh!! I’m going to have all of these!" Said another impressed shopper.

Poundland was praised earlier this month for releasing a range of bras in bigger sizes - at no extra cost.

The popular budget chain unveiled larger options in the lingerie department of its PEP&CO clothing label.

Women can now purchase bras up to a size 40E for the same price as its current selection, which starts at a 34B.
