A KATE Middleton super fan has revealed how she "style stalks" the Duchess of Cambridge, before snapping up identical outfits on eBay.
Sharing photos of herself in Kate-inspired dresses with her 17,000 Instagram followers, 31-year-old Mallory Bowling is a self-confessed "replikate".
Mallory - a lawyer from Washington DC - manages to copy the 37-year-old's fashion for a fraction of the cost, by snapping up outfits on eBay.
The 31-year-old explains that once the Duchess of Cambridge is spotted in an outfit, it's a "race against time" to get her hands on it, before it sells out.
"There’s nothing like the thrill of getting my hands on something Kate has worn," she told the .
The fan added that she prefers to buy Kate's favourite designers and labels and loves that the Duchess often recycles her outfits.
Mallory first started hunting down Kate's outfits eight years ago after falling in love with the Duchess' engagement dress - a blue Issa style the royal wore for her and William's official announcement.
And Mallory says she's spent thousands recreating the looks.
But she doesn't just "collect" the outfits, she wears them in her everyday life, too - and even on her wedding day when she wore a Kate-inspired Tiara and even modelled her wedding cake on the Duke and Duchess' masterpiece by Fiona Cairns.
And the thrill of finding the outfit isn't the only reason Mallory is so committed.
"If I know I have a tough day ahead I will put on a Kate outfit and immediately my confidence is boosted. I feel a connection to her and I’ve watched her grow in confidence over the years," she said.
But it can be tiresome work, with the lawyer explaining she's often up all hours bidding on eBay - much to her husband's frustration.
"In his wedding vows he even joked that he promised to put up with my love for Kate – love me, love Kate, is what I tell him!"
And Mallory isn't the only one copying royal fashion looks.
Sharon Adler, from New York, USA, copies the Duchess of Sussex's outfits for a fraction of the price by finding low-cost alternatives on the high street, as well as snapping up the original designer pieces on sale.
While the 37-year-old used to copy Kate's looks, she switched her attention to Meghan after she joined the royal family last year.
She said: “I fell in love with Kate Middleton’s style when she wore her now iconic Issa wrap dress to announce her engagement to William.
“She was so beautiful and poised. As a person too, Kate appealed to me. She always seemed so positive and caring, both to William and later their children and her charity work with kids.
“I was also immediately drawn to Meghan’s classic yet casual style when she started dating Harry and I started recreating it too.
“I have a lot of fun recreating the wardrobes of these two inspirational and strong women.”
