Heartbroken over wife’s suspected affair with her COUSIN after reading their Facebook messages
Dear Deidre
MY wife sent her cousin a secret message on Facebook saying she loves him. It has broken my heart.
We have been married for seven years and I love her.
We have no children – by choice, as we are both career-minded. She is 32 and I am 33.
Her cousin is 35 and in a relationship. We met him at a family party and they have been texting and talking on Snapchat ever since.
Our sex life is good and she says she loves me but I am not sure if she does.
I have a feeling they have had sex but I have no proof.
She has not seen him for six months but I am worried there is more to this.
DEIDRE SAYS: If she says she loves you, the sex is still good and she has not seen her cousin for the past six months, you are probably worrying unnecessarily.
Tell her you love her and ask her if there are any changes she wants to make in your marriage.
Keeping things good in every way, including sexually, is the best safeguard against her becoming interested in another man.
