DEIDRE SAYS: YOU have been let down terribly by the very man you should be able to count on.

This should be a time where you are focusing on sharing the excitement of becoming parents together, not dealing with his infidelity and the prospect of bringing up a child alone.

I’m afraid his behaviour doesn’t bode well for your future and you would be very wise to have a careful think about whether you want to bring a child into the world with the uncertainty of such an unreliable father.

As the baby’s biological dad, he would need to contribute financially, but his behaviour to date has been utterly selfish.

I’m not sure this is a man who will ever show up for you when you need him.
