DEIDRE SAYS: STALKING involves repeated and unwanted intrusions into a person’s life.
The stalker will have an intense preoccupation with the victim, which makes them feel vulnerable, worried and often damages their mental health.
It’s important that you keep any contact with a suspected stalker to an absolute minimum.
It’s also important you talk to your family and friends about your concerns.
As your stalker is a colleague, you would also be very wise to talk to your manager and HR.
And don’t delay in reporting this worrying behaviour.
The quicker you can take action, the sooner you can get your life back.
You can get more support from the National Stalking Helpline (suzylamplugh.org, 0808 802 0300).
