I’m jealous of my best mate having other friends
DEAR DEIDRE: When my best mate mentions other friends I feel insanely jealous but don’t know why, as I want her to be happy.
We’re girls aged 14 and have been friends since we were 11.
She’s always been there for me, especially when my mum was ill and when I was bullied.
I know it’s normal to have more than one friend so I don’t get why I feel so upset when another girl messages her or invites her somewhere.
She’s noticed I go weird on her when she talks about other friends, and I’m worried it’s going to come between us.
