When a couple need space from each other to assess their relationship, it is key they agree certain boundaries, especially when it comes to seeing other people.
But it is always best to talk it through so there are no nasty surprises.
That said, you are where you are. If you genuinely want to reconcile with Andy, all you can do is apologise and explain just how much you value him and hope he wants to rebuild the trust.
Realistically, you need to be prepared to give him space to recover from your recent revelation.
