CRUSHED CONFIDENCE

I want to find love but I hate myself so much due to the way I look

I can feel people staring at my bad skin

DEAR DEIDRE: I FEEL so ugly that I even hate my mother – because she is the one who gave birth to me.

Jealousy consumes me when I see beautiful young girls with gorgeous, clear skin. Why can’t I be like that?

I have thread veins all over my body, rosacea and eczema.

I am wrinkly and plain-looking.

I’m red in the face most of the time.

There are no mirrors in my house because I hate my looks.

My doctor says I will have to pay privately if I want the veins removed.

He’s given me creams and medication for my eczema but little works.

I’m a 30-year-old woman and work in a supermarket.

I can feel the customers staring at my bad skin.

Some of them seem to avoid my till and go to another one.

It’s very upsetting.

I’m single and want a relationship but nobody will love me looking like this.

Life isn’t fair for people like me.
