I miss my ex-boyfriend but my four-year-old son misses him even more
DEAR DEIDRE: SINCE I broke up with my boyfriend, my little lad keeps asking where he is.
It’s heartbreaking. I am 35 and my son is four.
I moved in with my partner a year ago but left when it didn’t work out, even though I still love him.
He felt he’d taken on too much too quickly and said he wasn’t ready to walk into being a full-time family man.
He was brilliant with my son and they had a really lovely bond.
My ex doesn’t want any contact with us.
