DEAR DEIDRE: AM I overreacting or is my fiancée taking the mick?
I’m 29, she’s 26, we’ve been a couple for three years and lived together for a year.
She is going to Hawaii before Christmas with her family and I haven’t been invited.
I feel slighted.
Surely if she wants to marry me and spend the rest of her life with me, she would want me to go on this dream holiday also?
I am pleased for her as she has always wanted to go but now she, her parents and two sisters have booked tickets, I’m wondering if they have an issue with me.

Her family may well have booked this as it will be their last chance for a family holiday before she gets married and it may well have been a long time in the planning.
