I want to lose all inhibitions during sex but I’m self conscious about my body
DEAR DEIDRE: I’M so self-conscious about my ugly body that I’ve never let my husband see me naked.
I thought that if I lost weight, I’d feel better. But since shedding two stone, I’ve developed saggy skin and now I hate myself as much as I did when I was fat.
My husband and I have been married for 20 years. I’m 46 and he’s 47.
I’ve always been on the plump side and was teased at school.
My husband says he thinks I’m gorgeous and that he’d love me fat or thin, but I’ve always covered myself up in baggy clothes – even in bed.
Last year, I finally joined a slimming club and managed to hit my target weight. But now my legs are so saggy I no longer want to go swimming or wear shorts, and I’m even more inhibited in the bedroom than before.

I can’t let myself go in bed. All I can think about is how awful my body looks.
How do I get over this?
DEIDRE SAYS: Your body isn’t the problem, it’s your low self-esteem that’s spoiling your life.
