LOSING PATIENCE

My partner’s cross-dressing habit is too much – my clothes are always going missing

DEAR DEIDRE: I DIDN’T mind my partner cross-dressing – until my clothes suddenly started going missing.

I’m 38 and he is 42. I did know that he was a cross-dresser when we met.

He was open and told me dressing up as a woman is something he enjoys doing in his private life.

I wasn’t bothered. In fact, I’ve grown fond of all his quirks.

But just lately, I’ve noticed my outfits disappearing.

At first, it was my underwear. Then I found a blouse that I love in the wardrobe at his house.

He could ask to borrow my clothes but instead he helped me look for it, knowing he had pinched it.

It has really put me off.

DEIDRE SAYS: Find a moment to speak with him to let him know how this makes you feel.

And set boundaries on clothes sharing. My support pack Standing Up For Yourself should help you talk to him without it causing an argument.

This isn’t about his cross-dressing but his dishonesty.
