I overheard husband say he was caught kissing a girl at work – I’m devastated
DEAR DEIDRE: I FEAR the reason my husband has quit his job is that he’s been seeing his new colleague behind my back.
I’m 46 and he just turned 50. He’s been working at a local bookmaker for 15 years.
He loved his job and always comes home with a story.
Just recently a new girl started at the firm, and he was assigned to train her up.
I noticed most of his work stories featured her and he always spoke about her with a smile on his face.
If I dared to say anything against her, he would get quite short with me in her defence.

Last week, out of nowhere, he walked out of work saying he quit – but he won’t give me details. All he will admit is there’s been some gossip about him.
But I overheard him talking about being caught kissing the girl at work.
He was moaning to a mate that his manager should keep his nose out of his life.
I’m devastated and haven’t let on that I know. What should I do?
