THANK YOU

I’m finally making peace with my son’s suicide after your advice – you’re truly an angel

DEAR DEIDRE: TWO years ago my dear son took his own life.

He was just 30 years old with his whole life ahead of him.

He had a great job and a loving wife. I had no idea he was so depressed.

I have been blaming myself ever since because, as his father, I feel I should have known.

I’m 68 and your advice helped me immensely.

Thanks to you and the bereavement counselling I’ve been receiving, I am making peace.

When someone takes their own life, their loved ones feel a keen sense of guilt that can be really difficult to overcome.

But if the deceased wasn’t able to open up, it can be impossible to guess their desperate thoughts.

Well done for taking the steps to embrace bereavement counselling.

We are always here to help should you ever need to contact us.
