EXAM STRESS

I’m so worried about my GCSEs that I can’t sleep at night

DEAR DEIDRE: EXAM stress is turning me into a zombie. With only a few weeks to go until my GCSEs, I just can’t sleep.

I’m a 16-year-old lad, and I lie awake at night convinced I’m going to fail and end up working in a job I hate.

During the day I’m so knackered I fall asleep in class or over my revision notes.

I just can’t seem to concentrate on the task at hand. Even though I know I need to settle down and revise, I can’t even sit still.

None of my mates seems as stressed as me and they would tease me if I tried to talk to them about it. Please help.

Make sure you take breaks and do things you enjoy, like exercise which helps with stress. Contact Young Minds () for tips.
