DEAR DEIDRE: A MUCH younger girl at work asked me to take her virginity but I’m worried I’ll get into trouble.

We both work in hospitality.

DEIDRE SAYS: The age of consent is 16, so this wouldn’t be illegal.

But there is a big age gap here and you will have different levels of emotional maturity, and as an older male you have some responsibility to do the right thing.

In addition, your employer might frown on relationships between staff – especially if you’re more senior.
