My friend sent a DM to my lover to test him – do I come clean?

DEAR DEIDRE: MY friend sent a message to a man I’ve been dating, asking him out after she found his online profile.

She says she wanted to test him. I had nothing to do with it and asked her not to do it.

I don’t want him to think I was involved

We’ve been dating for a few months and don’t feel the need to label ourselves, but my friends are getting involved.

I know he still has dating profiles, but he isn’t active on them.

We’ve discussed seeing and sleeping with other people but neither of us want to do that.

I’m 29 and he’s 32.

Do I tell him what my friend has done or wait and see if he responds.

I don’t want him to think I was involved, and this was some kind of test.
