I’m pregnant with my cheating ex’s child – I can’t bear to keep him in my life
DEAR DEIDRE: I FOUND out I was pregnant weeks after splitting up with my cheating ex. I don’t want him back in my life.
The hurt and betrayal I feel is horrendous, but should I tell him about the baby?
I’m 36 and my ex is 40. We were together for just over two years.
I discovered he was on dating sites and talking to – and probably meeting – other women.
Although we weren’t living together we spent most nights together.
I was so honest with this man after being cheated on in my previous long-term relationship.
I told him I was only looking for something serious and he still pursued me and was a gentleman.

But when I look back, I think he was lying all the time.
He’s moved straight on and is in another relationship. I’ve blocked him and deleted him on all my social media.
DEIDRE SAYS: There is no legal requirement to tell your ex you are pregnant.
But if you are having his baby, he does have an obligation to support his child financially at the very least.
If you think you can manage as a single parent and you don’t need his financial support, you could say nothing.

But do think forward to the time when your child will have questions about their father and might want to meet him in future.
If your ex doesn’t know they exist, this could cause major issues.
