I feel guilty for moaning about my teacher in a Reddit thread that went viral

Once, when I got the lowest score on a test, he said: “I wouldn’t bother trying any more as I doubt anything will change.”
But that’s no excuse for what I did. I started a thread on Reddit called “The Adventures of Mr A. Hole”.
I’d post all these stories about him, and it ended up getting 2,000 comments from other kids, too.
I was 15 then. I’m 19 now, and I still feel guilty.

He got quite a lot of abuse from other kids who realised who he was.
I want to apologise to him, but that would mean owning up to the posts.
