I’m his 51-year-old mum. He’s 14.

It’s a year since he contracted coronavirus and he still has chronic fatigue and chest pain.
But the doctor can’t find anything wrong with him.
Before he got ill he was an avid rugby player. But that’s been taken away from him.
He can’t even go up the stairs without getting breathless now. He looks so glum.

He doesn’t seem to have any motivation any more. He can’t even be bothered to go to school most days.
He’s meant to start his GCSEs next year. I fear this will mess up his future.
