DEAR DEIDRE: I THINK my mum lied about who my dad is. I am 15 and Mum is 34.
My dad was never around, but my mum always told me his name was Ben.

The best thing to do is to ask your mum for the truth.
Show her what you found so she understands why you are bringing this up.
