So what are the best ways to deal with rejection?

1 - Acknowledge your emotions

Letting things go and accepting that it’s not going to work out as you wanted is the most difficult, but most crucial part of dealing with rejection.

It’s going to hurt. You’re going to feel angry, disappointed, sad and be assured you are not weak for feeling that way.

2 - Accept the situation

Even if in your self-doubt you are is convinced that it’s your fault, it’s important to be level-headed and think about the situation from the other point of view.

Whether it’s work or pleasure, people have specific wants and needs that you may not be aware of or able to fulfil.

You’re always good enough, but perhaps at that time you’re not what they need and you can’t change that.

3 - Rejection is just redirection

Those that have experienced rejection before will be able to relate to this, but rejection does not need to be a negative experience.

It opens you up to many opportunities that would have not been possible before.

Try to think of rejection as a good thing. It gives you a chance to reconsider and you may find yourself on a completely different path - one that suits you better.
