My mum deserves to find love again – how do I get her on the dating apps?
DEAR DEIDRE: HOW can I convince my mum to give internet dating a try?
She’s 55 and has devoted her life to caring for me since my dad left when I was ten.
All she does is work – she’s a teacher – and look after me. I want her to put herself first and find love again.

I’m 25 and in a serious relationship, which makes me really happy. We’re planning to move in together and I worry Mum will be lonely when I leave.
She has so much to offer – she looks good for her age, is kind and fun.

But she refuses point-blank even to try online dating or an app. I think she’s scared, as she doesn’t have much confidence.
