HONEY TRAP

Should I tell my sister that her husband has been cheating with women online?

DEAR DEIDRE: I HAVE set a honey trap for my brother-in-law and he’s taken the bait. But how far do I take it?

I’m a girl of 22. My sister is 26 and distraught. She thinks he is cheating with women online but has no proof other than his suspicious behaviour. He’s 30 and a big IT geek, so there is no evidence on his laptop.

On social media, I set up a fake profile and messaged him. I started flirting and he got sexual, sending me explicit pics.

He wanted photos back so I asked a friend to send me some bikini body-shots I could send over to him. I’m now not sure if I’ve gone too far or if I should tell my sister what I found out.

DEIDRE SAYS: You did mean well but you risk her taking all this the wrong way. And your brother-in-law will shift the blame on to you.

Be upfront with him and explain your sister is on to him. Say he must stop his online cheating now or you will show her the evidence.

Rather than playing detective, tell your sister she must bring up her fears with him and insist they work on their relationship.
