DEAR DEIDRE: I’M so desperate to meet someone who’s right for me I go through phases when I’m addicted to dating apps.
I got counselling help for it last year as it was making me feel so bad, but I’ve found myself back on them since lockdown.

I’m a woman of 43. I have two children with my ex-husband but they are old enough now to have their own lives, one in sixth form, the other at uni.
I’ve never felt loved by any man in the way that I have loved them. I have lots of friends and I’m in a running group. I’ve got a fantastic family, it’s just that one piece that’s missing – a soulmate.
