DEAR DEIDRE: AS I sometimes meet people romantically when dressed in drag, I have a drag profile on gay dating app Grindr.
I am a man of 29 and work in a warehouse where the job is dull but we have a lot of banter.

One of the biggest jokers has a girlfriend so I’d assumed he was straight.
But I was shocked when I started getting messages from him on Grindr.
I don’t think he realises it’s me as I look totally different in drag.
I blocked him but he’s been persistent, creating new profiles to message me from.
Should I tell him I’m the drag queen he’s been messaging?
I don’t want this to come back to bite me.
DEIDRE SAYS: Are his messages sincere, or has he rumbled it’s you and he’s looking to take a rise out of you?
Find a quiet moment to say, lightly, “Hey, I liked your fun messages on Grindr but best just keep to being work friends, eh?”
Then he can pass it off as a joke even if it wasn’t, but he’ll likely stop messaging.
