I’m devastated after getting a Facebook message about my husband’s ‘other woman’
DEAR DEIDRE: I GOT an anonymous message on Facebook, saying: “Ask your husband about his other woman.”
I’m devastated. He has cheated before but vowed never to do so again.
It was eight years ago that I found out he’d had a two-year affair.
I moved out at once.
He was broken and begged forgiveness. I gave in and we started again.
Since then, our marriage has been better than ever.
We are in our late forties but felt half our age . . . then that horrible message arrived.
My husband swears he is faithful. I want to believe him and had no suspicions, unlike last time.
I have no idea who sent the message. Should I try to forget all about it?
I can’t spend my future with him if he has cheated again.

If that message is the only evidence that he has been misbehaving, I would say put it out of your mind.
Your marriage is now all you want it to be and you are surely alert to the signs of a husband who is playing away.
Someone is out to cause trouble for you.
Unless what they say rings true, trust your judgment.
