Since I got pregnant my fella has been calling me ‘idiot’ and ‘airhead’
DEAR DEIDRE: SINCE I found out I was pregnant my boyfriend has called me “idiot” and “airhead”.
He’d been so nice before and made me feel loved but he’s changed. He’s snappy and gets angry with me over the smallest things.

I’m 27, he’s 29. We’ve been together for three years. I am six weeks pregnant. He has stopped saying he loves me and our sex life has gone flat.
I do everything for him. There is no reason for him to treat me like this. It’s really upsetting. I’m scared to tell him to leave as he’s nowhere else to go.
DEIDRE SAYS: Was this baby planned? If not, it sounds as though he is feeling trapped, scared and angry. Talk to him. Does he want to be a dad?
It takes two to make a baby and you should both be responsible over contraception.
It is unfair for him to treat you like this but unless he is fully behind the idea of you being parents and staying together, you should look at whether you are ready for all the demands of being a single parent.
