I had to fight to see my son in lockdown because my ex is frightened of coronavirus
DEIDRE SAYS: THE mother of my child made me fight to have him round during lockdown as she is “frightened witless” of Covid.
Yet she leaves him with her parents so she can spend nights with her boyfriend.
Worse, her parents must be vulnerable as her mum is diabetic and her dad had cancer.
My son is five and her parents are in their fifties. Her bloke has a public-facing job.
I tried talking to her about it but she won’t respond to my messages and tells me to get off her property as soon as I’ve picked up my son.
We are in our late twenties.

DEIDRE SAYS: You are right that your ex is putting her parents at risk – but they are adults and must know the risks they are running.
Most importantly, children are at very little risk of serious illness from Covid-19.
Even so, message her saying you are worried she is taking chances with your son’s health. She should put him first.
