Bust In Britain is back and last year’s winner tells us why it is the best thing she’s ever done
IT’S that time of the year where we search for the nation’s Cleavage Queen.
And this year The Sun’s brilliant Bust In Britain contest is bigger and better than ever.
As we launch the 2018 hunt for the country’s best chest, we have lined up our favourite glamour girl — Kelly Brook — to be chief judge.
Kelly said: “I am delighted to be judging this year’s Bust In Britain and can’t wait to see the entries flying in.
“I know this country boasts some astonishing assets, cracking cleavages and simply beautiful boobs... and this is our chance to celebrate that.”
So knock us out with your very best selfie — or ask a friend to help take a picture — and you could win £5,000 and a professional photoshoot in Ibiza.
We are asking women up and down the country to submit their favourite pictures in the form below.
You will also find full details, terms and some top tips.
Our panel of expert judges will then choose the lucky winner.
The competition will stay open for a month and you can send in as many snaps as you like to support your entry.
More than 1,000 girls applied last year and we were blown away by the talent.
Jasmine McCloude, 25, from Taunton, Somerset, was our Bust In Britain 2017 winner.
She says the contest transformed her life, calling it “the best thing that ever happened to me”.
She adds: “I used to suffer from low self-esteem but since winning I am so body-confident.
“I had no idea I was going to win. All of the other girls were so beautiful and had bigger breasts than me so I was shocked when I received the phone call telling me the good news.”
Jasmine explained how her mum Helen, a former swimwear model, suggested she enter after reading the paper.
Jasmine says: “She told me to go for it and said I stood a good chance. I didn’t believe her.
“I’m only 5ft 3in so I thought I was too short to be a model.
“Also, I have 32D boobs and am a size 8.
“The other girls in the final had bigger breasts so I was convinced I wasn’t going to win.
“What I love about The Sun’s competition is that it’s all about celebrating confidence.
“Everywhere you look there’s Photoshop, filters and fake celebrity snaps so it’s great to see real women in the paper.
“My advice to anyone wanting to enter is to just be yourself and go for it.
“You don’t need to spend ages retouching your picture or mucking about with Snapchat filters — simply don your best underwear and flash your most gorgeous smile.”
Since her win, Jasmine, who lives with long-term partner Jake Harris, 25, a water engineer, has modelled in bikini and lingerie shoots and been approached by modelling agencies.
She says: “It’s crazy. People still recognise me from the competition so sometimes I feel like a bit of a celebrity.
“At the time I received loads of messages from well-wishers saying how great I looked and how pleased they were that I’d won.
“Everybody was so positive it was lovely.”
Jasmine admits she was a little worried at first about telling her dad.
But she says: “I needn’t have been — he was so proud of me and said it was a huge achievement.”
One year on, and it’s clear why Jasmine won The Sun’s cleavage crown.
With her dark tumbling locks, Hollywood smile and sparkling eyes, she looks every inch the superstar as she returned last week to our East London studio after her original shoot.
“I’ve loved coming back here,” she beamed.
“It’s such a glamorous day and it’s amazing posing in all these gorgeous outfits. It’s the best day ever.
“When I look back at the cuttings of me in The Sun I am filled with happiness.
“It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and something to show the grandkids.
“I thought my prize couldn’t get any better but I’ve just heard that this year’s winner will get £5k and a photoshoot in Ibiza — can I enter again please?”
WIN £5,000 AND A PHOTOSHOOT IN IBIZA
TO enter our brilliant Bust In Britain contest, simply fill in some brief details on the form provided and upload your best snap. You can enter as many pictures as you like.
Here are some top tips from the experts.
- Take a picture with the natural lighting in front of you because it’s more flattering than behind.
- Use a natural filter if necessary.
- Get someone else to take the picture if you don’t want to take a selfie.
- Wear sexy lingerie, a bikini or a low-cut top.
- Don’t over filter the picture because we want to see your beautiful face.
- Don’t crop out your forehead. Make sure your full face and cleavage are in shot.
- Don’t use app gadgets that make you look like a furry animal. They may look cute but we want to see your sexiest side.
- Don’t take the picture in black and white.
- Don’t send in a favourite picture of yourself taken years ago. We bet you look even more beautiful today.
