Peter de Putron: An apology

YESTERDAY’S article (“Tax Riddle Andrea’s no Maggie — CV fibs and an offshore donor”) wrongly claimed that Andrea Leadsom’s brother-in-law Peter de Putron had dealings with Mossack Fonseca and was implicated in the recent Panama Papers offshore tax scandal. In fact, he has no link to Mossack Fonseca, or Panama, and was not named in the Panama Papers. The error arose as a result of mistaken identity and we apologise.
