When is the Cross Country Chase, what's the distance and which sort of horses can enter?

The 2019 Cross Country Chase will take place on Wednesday, March 13 at 16:10 (4.10pm).

It's a National Hunt Chase run on the Cross Country Course over three miles and six furlongs, for horses aged five years and upwards.

The race will be broadcast live on Racing TV and ITV.

ITV1 is on Sky channel 103 and Virgin channel 103.

Who won the Cross Country Chase in 2018?

Tiger Roll (7-1) won the race for trainer Gordon Elliott and jockey Keith Donogue.

French raider Urgent De Gregaine (12-1) finished second with The Last Samuri (11-4f) in third.

Which jockeys and trainers have won the Cross Country Chase the most? 

Enda Bolger is the leading trainer with five wins having trained Spot Thedifference (2005), Heads Onthe Ground (2007), Garde Champetre (2008,2009) and Josies Orders (2016) to win the race.

Nina Carberry teamed up with Bolger to win four of those contests and is the leading jockey.
