Gigginstown’s multiple Grade 1-winning mare Apple’s Jade retired from racing
GIGGINSTOWN'S 11-time Grade 1 winner Apple's Jade has been retired.
The eight-year-old finished eighth in Thursday's Paddy Power Stayers' Hurdle, and time was quickly called on her career.

Her highlights include the 2017 Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham, the Irish Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown and three consecutive renewals of the Hatton's Grace at Fairyhouse.
She won 15 of her 28 starts and earned over £800,000 in prize money.
Elliott said: "She's been the horse of lifetime - she's won 11 Grade 1s. She's going to go to stud now. We've been lucky to train her.
"She enjoyed herself today. The engine just doesn't go as fast as it used to. She owes us nothing"
