ASTON VILLA host Manchester United in this weekend’s standout Premier League fixture. The Red Devils have won their last two and are closing in on Villa in the race for a top-four finish.

With Unai Emery’s team on a two-match losing streak at Fortress Villa Park, this could be the ideal time to be visiting the West Midlands.

Elsewhere, and at the top of the table, Premier League leaders Liverpool may find themselves knocked off the top spot by the time they kick-off against Burnley at 3 pm.

That’s because Manchester City is playing first on Saturday. The current champions get Matchweek 24 underway in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off against Everton.

A win for City will see Pep’s team overtake the Reds for a couple of hours at the very least.

But Liverpool would expect to make light work of a Burnley team that has been leaking goals at an alarming rate all season.

Below, we have named our best Premier League bets for this weekend. A £10 wager on our Saturday treble will pay out £66.50 if it wins.

But on top of that, we've also named a selection for both Sunday and Monday. Add these to the mix, and our accumulator produces a potential return of £338.32!

🥅 Man City vs Everton: City HT/FT (8/11)

The Toffees are a funny side to bet on this season. They would be 12 in the league without the ten-point deduction. This means they are having a decent season.

But we still seem to think of them as a bottom-six side despite the fact they are not playing like one.

Sean Dyche really had them performing in the build-up to Christmas. But since then, they’ve come unstuck. They did produce a fighting draw at home to Spurs last Saturday, but facing City at the Etihad is a different proposition.

City have now won five in a row in the Premier League. They seemed to have flicked the 'meaning business' switch on, and we can see them beating Everton.

Everton don’t concede many. But with City having scored 17 of their 27 goals at the Etihad this season in the first half, a half-time/full-time bet on Manchester City looks the call.

🥅 Wolves vs Brentford: Over 2.5 Goals (3/4)

Wolves have gone goal crazy this season. Long gone are the drab days under Nuno Espírito Santo when not conceding was the number one agenda. Now it's a case of you score two, and we score three.

Under Gary O’Neil, Wolves have scored 37 and conceded 37 this season. Most recently, they were involved in a seven-goal thriller with Manchester United and a six-goal match with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Brentford on the other hand, looks like a team who are starting to get the relegation jitters. The Bees have lost seven of their last eight. And they have Liverpool on the horizon next weekend. This means they need to get something at Molineux.

In their last three matches, they have scored six and conceded eight, making over 2.5 goals a must-bet.

🥅 Spurs vs Brighton: Richarlison to score anytime (6/5)

Richarlison has all of a sudden found his shooting boots at Tottenham. In his last four matches, he has hit the back of the net five times, including a brace against his old club Everton last Saturday.

As for Brighton, it’s hard to know what to expect. In their last two, they conceded four away at Luton and put four past Crystal Palace at the Amex. The defence has been leaky lately. Even goal-shy Crystal Palace scored last week. They look like the ideal opposition for Richarlison to keep his impressive run going.

Add the following two bets to make it a 5-fold acca.

🥅 Aston Villa vs Man Utd: Rasmus Højlund to score anytime (7/4)

Like Richarlison, Rasmus Højlund is another Premier League striker who has replaced his identical twin brother in the team in recent weeks. Up until United hosted Villa over the Christmas period, Højlund was awful in front of goal.

Now, he can’t stop scoring. The Dane has five goals in his last four games, including three in his last three. The run started in the match against Villa. And we can see it continuing against the same opposition this Sunday.

🥅 Crystal Palace vs Chelsea: Chelsea to win (17/20)

Roy Hodgson is the current favourite in the latest sack race betting. Also going against the former England boss is that the fans are on the backs of the owner and the board.

Often in these times, the manager is sacrificed to give the fans something and take the heat off the club hierarchy.

Crystal Palace are now 14th in the table. They have won two of their last five, but the two most recent defeats have been very poor. The 5-0 loss at Arsenal was bad.

But losing their grudge match 4-1 against Brighton (who had just lost 4-0 to Luton) is the sort of result that gets managers the sack.

Hodgson survived that. But it looks like just a stay of execution. And as much as Chelsea are hard to trust this season, if they produce the same sort of performance that saw them win 3-1 at Villa Park on Wednesday, they will beat Palace.
