Zeenia Naqvee
Zeenia joined The Sun in 2024 as a foreign news reporter after a year at MailOnline where she became an experienced SEO reporter. She is a native Urdu speaker with a basic grasp of French and studied English at the University of Liverpool before getting an MA in journalism from Cardiff University. In March 2024, she was highly commended at the NCTJ Awards for Excellence for her features covering marginalised communities in Cardiff and Liverpool. As an undergrad, Zeenia sub-edited Alice Hiller's award-winning book Bird of Winter which is sold in Waterstones. Her first exclusive at The Sun was an account of a forced marriage victim.
