Katherine Walsh

Katherine Walsh is a digital sports reporter for The Sun with a detailed knowledge of football, rugby, boxing and F1. She graduated from with a first class honours degree in History and Politics before achieving a Gold-Standard NCTJ Diploma in multi-media journalism at the UK's number one school. Joined SunSport's desk in March 2023 after gaining experience interviewing Olympic stars, including an exclusive with Team GB rower and NHS doctor Imogen Grant. Katherine has published work in the BBC and Sportsbeat. She currently attends EFL fixtures covering Stevenage, Wimbledon, and Charlton at The Valley to write match reports and interview managers for PA media. She has also been involved with coverage of Euro 2024 and the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
