Kate Ferguson is the Political Editor of the Sun on Sunday - making history by becoming the first female political editor in the history of The Sun titles. She has broken a string of big political exclusives including the Chris Pincher groping scandal which rocked Boris Johnson’s last days in government, the Neil Parish tractor porngate scoop, and revealing that all schools would stay shut down in Covid. Kate moved to the lobby to cover politics in 2016. Before this she worked as a court and crime reporter at the Press Association and National News Agency, covering some of the biggest cases of the day including the Jimmy Savile scandal and Operation Yewtree court cases into allegations of sex abuse aby celebrities. She started her career as a cub reporter at the Kilburn Times and later the Ham&High.
