Hope Brotherton

Hope Brotherton is a Digital Travel Reporter, joining the website in November 2022. She specialises in travel news and travel features, covering topics such as travel advice, holiday tips and tricks, and flight safety. Since joining Sun Travel, she routinely publishes exclusive articles from interviews with travel safety expert Carolyn Pearson to long-read features interviews with Andy the Highlander and filming original video content on location, nothing is too big or too small. Hope regularly tests out the latest travel gadgets. She has travelled the world for her work, exploring UK destinations like Birmingham, Hull and Windsor. She's also travelled further afield to Qatar, Thailand, New York, Denmark, Sweden and Italy, with her favourite destination being Khao Sok National Park in Thailand. Hope has been a journalist for seven years after graduating from Cardiff University with a degree in Magazine Journalism. Before joining the Sun, Hope previously worked at Take a Break, That's Life, Bella, Closer and Yours magazine and has bylines in , and BA High Life.
