Emily Hirst joined the Sun in July 2022, as a writer and editor for the Sun On Snapchat before becoming a freelance writer for the showbiz  department. Emily also wrote the Sun's live blog for the Love Island Summer 2023 final as well as the explosive Aftersun reunion. She loves all things pop culture, lifestyle, fashion and beauty and freelances for a number of publications about such topics. Emily recently graduated Sheffield Hallam University after fulfilling a degree in Fashion Management and Communications. She has a passion for trend research and is an avid reader.
