Thea Jacobs
Thea Jacobs is a feature writer who previously worked for Bizarre and The Sun on Sunday. She co-ran the multi-award-winning Jabs Army campaign and regularly works on and leads the paper's campaigns. Currently, she is at the helm of the Footie For All campaign, which is working to ensure children can keep playing grassroots football amid the cost of living crisis. In addition, she is part of the team that works on The Sun's Who Cares Wins awards. Thea's investigation into Turkish surgeons flying over to the UK to offer pre-surgery consultations was followed up internationally and even saw then-Prime Minister Rishi Sunak comment. She has appeared on TalkTV to talk about the dangers of foreign cosmetic procedures. Other investigations include the legal sex trade in Switzerland and Germany, which have formed part of The Sun's flagship original content on YouTube, the reality of the porn industry, and Brits being exploited abroad. Thea joined The Sun's trainee scheme in 2017 before becoming a permanent member of staff. She covers everything including consumer taste tests, showbiz exclusives, crime, party destinations, and theatre.
